Blueberry Fig Oatmeal

With fall in full swing here in Austin, TX, I have started drifting away from my usual morning smoothie to something warmer and more comforting. Not to mention, figs are one of my favorite fall fruits and I got these beautiful and delish figs from my mom’s tree!

What You’ll Need


1/2 cup gluten free oats (I used The Sprouted Flour rolled oats)

1/2 cup of water (or milk of choice)

pinch of salt

pinch of cinnamon

pinch of stevia

For Toppings:

1 fig

handful of organic blueberries (these guys are on the dirty dozen so be sure you are picking organic)

1 tbs of almond butter (I used Whole Foods 365 brand)

1/4 cup of Purely Elizabeth blueberry hemp granola


Method


Mix together and microwave for 2 minutes.

Enjoy!
