I’m so excited you’re here!

A bit about me - I am a California girl turned Texan! While San Diego will always have a piece of my heart, Austin is home to me. I moved here in 2018 after graduating from Clemson University with a bachelors degree in Marketing. I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a certified health coach in November 2020 and am currently working in marketing at a pharmaceutical company in downtown Austin. My background is in event marketing, but I have always had a love and passion for the latest health trends, recipe development and helping others feel their best in mind, body and spirit. You can find me taking a spin or yoga class, reading a good book by the lake, trying out a new recipe in my kitchen, or grabbing lunch at one of Austin’s many healthy & tasty restaurants.

I started this blog as a way to share with all of you my passion for cooking, wellness, and making healthy habits simplified and more accessible. Since struggling with several food allergies and hormone imbalances, I eat a primarily gluten and dairy-free diet. Thus, all of the recipes you see here will be free of those allergens. That said, I want this to be a place where you come for inspiration for simple and quick recipes that will nourish you and your loved ones without compromising taste or feeling restricted in what you can eat.
