A holistic health coach is a trained health professional who uses an integrative approach to improve a client’s overall wellbeing. Partnering with their clients to cultivate an overall healthier life, they take into account the full picture of a client’s lifestyle, diet, relationships, habits, patterns, fitness, spirituality, career, and more to promote healthy behavior changes. When I was in high school, I played competitive sports and didn’t really take inventory into what I was consuming each day. My diet consisted of a chewy bar or cereal for breakfast, sandwich or take out for lunch, and I always had dessert after dinner. The evening of the junior formal was the turning point for me in my health journey. My friends and I all went to an Italian restaurant and frozen yogurt shop before the formal. I became so ill later that evening that my mom took me to the emergency room. After several tests and no answers, my mom took me to see a functional nutritionist. This was my first experience ever considering what I had been eating my whole life were potential culprits for what was making me sick and the beginning of my first elimination diet. I quickly realized I did not tolerate gluten or dairy products very well and began to eat a primarily whole foods diet.
After moving to Clemson for college and taking a few nutrition classes, I realized there were a lot of polarized opinions and misconceptions about what “healthy” actually means for each individual. Still focused on my own health journey, I switched gears and transferred into the business school. It wasn’t until 2020 when the COVID19 global pandemic put everything into perspective for me. I lost my job. People of all walks of life were scared for their health. This turn of events allowed me to enroll in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and launched me into starting a business where I can help others find what the definition of healthy is for them.

As an IIN Health Coach, I provide one-on-one coaching to support my clients on their journey towards a healthier and happier lifestyle. Our health is one of our greatest assets. Nourishing yourself in mind, body, and spirit can have lasting impacts on who you show up as in your day to day life and for those around you.
As your coach, I will strive to help you learn how to implement healthy habits that feel best for YOU, create a balanced lifestyle and embrace change that allows you to be unapologetically yourself!
With all of the noise out there around diet culture and not knowing who to trust when it comes to your health, I will teach you how to break through the confusion and discover what lifestyle changes and habits make you feel your best. By holding a positive, non-judgemental and inclusive space, allow me to guide you through your health journey and teach you practices that help you improve your health.
